HEHE I really meant to get a Monday post up yesterday – I’m on track with food and exercising – but this time it was just life and being busy that got in the way – not a mental issue keeping me from wanting to talk and share.
Thankfully my husband had the day off because my niece, who babysits my grandson, has pneumonia and needed a rest day. So little man was here from lunch time on. He’s so sweet. I was making him a sandwich for lunch and he’s walking around with the cheese package saying “it’s cheese” in the sweetest little voice. And no it was not as clear as you can read it – but I knew what he was saying and he’s doing so good since his surgery 🙂
I was talking to my husband yesterday about him helping me with my Fascia blasting and how he has not 🙂 or we have not made time. It’s hard with me working a M-F 7-4 job and him working retail – that can be 6-7 days a week 10+ hours a day. When he gets home, I don’t want to tell him “OK I’m gonna go workout and get warmed up then you can come blast me” LOL He gets home, he’s tired and I just want to spend some time relaxing with him. So while I have been still working on the spots I can reach pretty well and the spots I can sort of reach, there are a few that I really need help with. I’m hoping for my massage table hardcore for Christmas…then I can help my DIL and Grandson’s mom and daughter – I will still need to find someone who wants to learn about it and help me, I will also help them…but asking my DIL or the others seems awkward. “Hey, I make you dinner each week but can you scrub my butt with this tool to help get the dents out? What about my hamstrings and inner thighs, can you help me reach there?, OK well how about that back fat?” LMAO!!!!! Somethings can’t be unseen lol
I didn’t work out Saturday or Sunday – and I didn’t beat myself up. I think if I can keep a solid M-F workout plan in place I am doing good. No justification, No logic to it. i was busy and didn’t want to. It’s so easy to do it over lunch when I am working and have a structured day. A good solid sweat 5 days a week – I think that is good for my heart. My nutrition is what will determine my weight. And that is still doing well. I probably am holding steady or losing at a very slow rate, but until after January 1st, I’m good with that. Calorie counting will start back up in January. Maintaining or small loss over the holiday is a success in my book.
I will finish this first round of Slim in 6 in early January, and then I am not sure if I start over – OR go onto my Slim Series which is the follow on for Slim in 6. Not 100% sure – I also really want to start running again. Another reason I need to get the legs blasted in shape. I have IT band issues – we all do – lol you just don’t know about it unless you run or have it so bad it’s cause hip or knee pain 🙂
And finally – Pre-Workout drinks….anybody have a good one that they like? I was using the E&E from Beachbody but it was discontinued with the release of the performance line. So I tried the new one, but it didn’t have the same effect on me. I liked the little boost I got from the E&E. Looking for one that gives me that feeling – without making my heart jump out of my chest. It seems to be the ones with vitamin B that I like without a ton of caffeine and stuff.
