That’s me getting back in my saddle. I slip and fall off now and then – I’m sure we all do. Getting back up is that you have to do. Moving on….
Today was the first day of Physical Therapy for my foot. 4 years ago I had a Morton’s Neuroma removed from my left foot. Apparently for the last 4 years I have been walking funny due to this. I can’t feel part of my left foot and the parts I do feel kind of hurt like a zing or stab now and then when I walk and land funny. So the goal is to get some flexibility back in my left calf and shin and also my right hip that has been taking the brunt of all of this fun for the last 4 years!
A couple weeks ago I wrote down a plan to help me get consistent with my business. A weekly posting schedule. Topics to post on my Like page, plans for making video’s to share here on my blog, training for my team. That is as far as it got – a plan on paper. I also vowed to myself that I would spend at least 30 minutes a day working on my crafts/quilting. And I am happy to say I have been way better with that 🙂 I will have two quilts that should have been done a year ago – done before Thanksgiving!
I have joined a Facebook group on leadership that starts tomorrow evening – I’m hoping between that group and the mandatory ready I will get myself unstuck a bit more. It seems it is a process and not and one time un-sticking.
I had a little glimmer into my thought process again today and started to write things down. I used to have this awesome memory! I could tell you what I had for dinner three years ago on this night LOL – now I barely remember last week. I don’t think I have accepted I am not who I used to be and I try to do like Ive always done and just go from my memory. But I feel panicky half the time like I’m forgetting something – so I sit and wonder – Do I have free time or am I forgetting something?! And DO NOTHING! Each January I buy a planner – a couple times a year I pull it out and try to make myself use it…trying again 🙂
I need to go workout! It is almost past lunch and I have not found the umph to move away from my laptop…and maybe I’ll just go eat lunch and workout tonight. IDK – I’m thinking about early morning workouts again. Do you have a preferred time of day to workout?
