SOOO Many little topics to cover today!
I went and saw my Doctor that manages my BHRT (Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy). We are holding the testosterone and progesterone where they we set last time. They seem to be really good here 🙂 The best part of today’s visit was I got my prescription for my Natur-Throid! It is a NATURAL form of thyroid hormones from Pigs. So while the synthetic stuff supplements the T4 and T3 the Natural stuff also contains trace amounts of the other T’s (1 & 2) – I mentioned this before – it could be dicey as we make this transition – But I’m excited.
Other topics – I’m bruised ALL OVER from this new way I have been Blasting with my fascia blaster. I know I have not talked about this in detail yet. But the bruising is normal and a part of the healing process. Fascia that gets all junked up is lacking blood flow. Your fat gets trapped in there and you end up with fat pockets in odd places. Think about permanent dents where you wear your clothes are too tight, or rolls that get pushed below your bra band. In my case where I have been working and focusing are on my …well all over actually. My legs and hip due to tight tight tendons and crappy fascia that seemed to bind up after I was radiated for my Graves Disease. Back fat rolls that developed after my tummy tuck, all along my tummy tuck scar and around my belly button from the tummy tuck also.
For the first time since I had my tummy tuck I am actually feeling I might see the mid section I had hoped for when I did it.
So my new technique is not really new 🙂 Just new to me. If you follow Ashley Black on Facebook or her blog you know she recommends that you warm your body though cardio, then warm the surface of the skin THEN oil up your skin and blast! I finally started working my blasting sessions to right after my workouts when I can. If I am not sore from previous blasting sessions 🙂
So below I will share a few of my bruises and also my back from today. Today’s workout was P90X – Chest and Back. Since I had just worked my back I figured it was a great time to focus on those blasted rolls I hate so much. Friday after work I did a leg workout then worked on my saddle bags, Sunday after a Cardio workout that had a lot of upper body work – I worked on my arms…So right now my right butt/hamstring area is wonderfully bruised and my arms are sore and spotty 🙂 I’m hoping the back fat rolls bloom into some nice ones tomorrow.
Please start a dialog! I want to know that the rambling I’m rambling is being seen. What do you want to hear me ramble about 🙂
