First let me say that since my waist has hurt so badly I thought I should check and see if this pain is worth it LOL I have lost 1 inch off from my waist at the navel and at the narrowest point. Both of those numbers are 1 inch smaller today since Monday. So yes – its worth it 🙂
I started using the Fasciablaster back in March. I didn’t buy it initially for cellulite. I didn’t have much really. I had a dent here and there and I had a very dented behind. But I guess I never really thought there was much I could do about that so I didn’t worry too much about it. I did buy it in hopes that it would help with the scar tissue I have had for the last 13 years since I had my “mommy make-over”. That is plastic surgery to fix all the things pregnancy ruins – breast augmentation and tummy tuck.
I didn’t have great results with my tummy tuck. I ended up with a hematoma right over my belly button that I have had to live with ever since. The fluid all went away but the scar tissue lingered. And what I have recently learned, is fat will cling to “jacked up” fascia and scar tissue. And really scar tissue is just really thick layers of fascia. So as long as that pocket of scar tissue was there – and believe me I have had it “fixed” twice. That is two more times after my initial tummy tuck a doctor has gone back in there to remove the blob of scar tissue and it just built back up. I think the shit grows like a fungus if you don’t get it all LOL. Additionally all along the tummy tuck scar my dr did liposuction two years after the initial tummy tuck because there was a ridge building up along there. Looking back – I wish I knew then what I know now!!!
So since March I have been working on this scared up mid section. I really have to say I am making progress! It is going to take a lot of time because there is a lot of tissue that needs to be broke down. But progress is being made so I will keep going.
Recently I was reading some information on fascia and stumbled across dynamic cupping. If you know me, you know I had to go and read all I could about this and see if it would help me with my goals and objectives of smooth skin, and less to no scar tissue in my abdomen. Guess what?? It can – it is!!!! It is also helping me with my legs and butt dents. I have what is considered “beyond bound” fascia. It is SUPER tight and is taking a long time to break up and smooth out. But I am making progress.
All of this is just words to you though – Fasciablaster, dynamic cupping?? what are there words? What is she actually “doing”?
YouTube – Look up Fascialblaster or Ashley Black and also you can Google or search YouTube for dynamic cupping. But basically the Fasciablaster is used to “scrub” your skin – all over head to toe to get your fascia to “untangle” and relax so it is not pulled tight. Cellulite is not really real – it’s tight fascia, and if you get your fascia to relax and lie flat – you will have flat smooth skin. EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A STICK. In fact I know several sticks that still have the look of cellulite. They just have tight fascia. And the cupping is along the same principle. Only rather than inward pressure on the fascia to break it up – your pulling a vacuum (negative pressure) on the fascia to help pull it apart. Because its all stuck together that is why its tight and bound.
This is the set of cups I purchased and have been using. Some spots that have been hard to get to release have really started to move since I have been cupping AND fasciablasting.
I really believe in this tool. I bought my daughter, daughter-in-law and my grandson’s mom all one for their birthday’s. I can’t quite express to you enough that self-care makes you love yourself so much more – Words can not even describe it. I like my body. I like to share my body with my husband more now that I love it. Loving yourself really translates into so many good things in life.
That is all I have on the topic for now. Maybe when things slow down a bit in my life – read that as after Christmas 🙂 I will make some of my own video’s and post them here.
NOTE: I forgot to add this picture. I know the lighting is different – but you can tell this pile of crap is smoothing out!!! It’s not gone – but it is getting smoother.
