I see I have a new bruise on my left fat roll – you might have to click on the picture to see it.
Today post workout fasciablasting session, I worked on the “high butt” area. That is the area on either side of my lower back tattoo you can see its red there, and then also my butt. You probably can’t tell that is red – maybe a little.
So I know the bruising raises questions. “Aren’t bruises bad?” No these are not traumatic bruises, these are restorative. Blood is getting back to a place that is has been restricted from reaching due to junked up fascia.
Junked up fascia gives the appearance of dimples and dents and most commonly called cellulite – but cellulite is just junky fascia that has fat trapped. We can smooth it out and release the trapped fat and muscles. I can’t wait for a bit more time to pass so I can see the changes I feel 🙂
One of the things I learned while on the fascia journey – I realized I was over arching my back and contributing to much of my hip pain. As I have been working to improve my posture I also feel a difference when I workout and focus on keeping my hips tucked under me and not throwing my hips back.
