P90X -Again

Day 1 P90X

Well – I’m alive and over here doing my thing. I’m really just trying to focus on me and taking care of me. I have tried taking care of you and it does not work. I take care of me – you take care of you. That is what works.

I just finished week one of P90X. I do so love that program. I have heard so many people talk about their soulmate workout – well this one is mine. Yes – it’s at least an hour per workout. Yes – there are at least two other P90(x3) workouts that are in the 30 minute range per workout, but there is something so perfectly old school about the original P90X that fits me. All of the newer programs that are in 30 minute or less formats are great – but for me I like the slower paced hour long weight lifting videos.

As for food – I have finally removed my head from my butt and got the Gluten back out of my diet and have now had three full weeks of no horrid bloated gut pain! Now I need to stop having a Mike’s Hard Lemonade nightly and the scale might start moving 😉 I have been following my appetite and really have not been eating much. Coffee with heavy whipping cream for breakfast, Shakeology with almond milk and collagen for lunch, meat and veggies for dinner; occasional potatoes. But those Mike’s!!! They have like 220 calories per bottle, and if yu have 2-3 a night – POOF! You’re over your target for the day LOL.

On the topic of the fascia massaging that I started after we got back from vacation, I’m still doing that a couple times a week. I really like what it is doing. I feel connected to my body and I feel like I’m taking care of myself. I really can’t explain it any other way. The dimples in my behind are almost gone. The extra skin over my belly button and over my hips are firming up and that makes me super happy. I am in a private group and the changes I have seen in many women’s loose skin and stretched out post baby belly are amazing!!!!

If you have lost weight and have loose skin – you need to look at this.

If you have cellulite – you need to look at this.

If you have had surgery and have a scar that is bound and puckered – you need to look at this.

If you are tight and achy – you need to look at this.

I swear – its life changing. And I make nothing off this – it’s not something I sell, it just happens to be something I found and use and think it would help many, many, many people. Dusting off and moving on

Hello – It’s been a couple of weeks since we got back from our vacation and I have been trying to figure out how to best move forward and keep myself out of pain. I was super sick the first week we were home and I didn’t see a way forward. Then this week I got back to some kind of “normal” eating for me and started to really feel better. Then Friday came. We had pizza for dinner…the weekend went down from there. I have been very uncomfortable the rest of the weekend. I believe my lactose intolerance and wheat intolerance really are kicked up full steam with all that has been going on.

Today I have had a Shake with Shakeology, Collagen and almond milk – shortly after that I started feeling better. I just had a chicken thigh and so far so good. I’m cooking up white rice as that is the one the is easier to digest in preparation for my week.

Buying some chicken and veggies when I go grocery shopping and I’m going to make foods that are easy to digest and see if I can’t get myself healed and healthy again.

Today I will take Day 0 pictures for starting 22 Minute Hard Corps….Not sure if we will do it in the AM before hubby goes to work or I will do it at lunch alone. Either way – it begins tomorrow. Also – the tightwad in me is leaning towards only doing some drop in Yoga now and then and not buying a membership for $109 a month. The P90X Yoga is awesome and 90 minutes of challenge and I already own it. I can also listen to the podcasts and do it right here. I already pay for a gym membership I hardly use – why add a yoga studio to it that I won’t use nearly as often as I should for that price. 🙂 Our goal is to be able to move to Florida by 2018 and getting out of debt is one of the first things that needs to happen for that goal to come to fruition.

I have another awesome topic to hit on, but rather than overload this one post – I’ll make sure I come back later in the week and give a workout update and tell you another story 🙂
